Beach​ Club Rules

​As part of the governing documents, the Beach Club adopts rules to monitor the behavior and safety of those members and their guests on the beach.  The rules are posted here for your access.  This is also to make it easier for all members to enjoy the use of the common areas.


Beach Club Rules
All common areas are owned by the Diamond Lake Beach Club are for the exclusive use of its member households and verifiable guests.  These rules are established to insure the continued safe and private use of common areas by all Beach Club Members.  Anyone not following rules may be evicted by the Security Guard.  The Beach Club and its members will not be responsible for any injuries incurred, or articles lost or stolen on Beach Club holdings.

1. The beach proper is closed from 11:00 p.m. until dawn.

2. Absolutely no overnight camping.  Fires will be allowed in attended barbecue facilities and the fire pit.

3. Members and their guests are admitted to the Beach by use of their gate key and/or member/guest passes only.  All visitors to Beach Club property must be accompanied by a member or have a guest pass and/or a gate key on their person.  This includes children. Minor children, age 12 (twelve) and under, must be accompanied at all times by an Adult guardian who is a Member.  Members are responsible for the actions of their children and all guests, at all times.

4. No excessively loud, improper, or obtrusive behavior will be allowed, including loud music. 

5. Private property rights will be respected at all times. It is illegal to damage or destroy any private property which includes buoys, boats, canoes, picnic tables and etc.

6. Removal of litter, including beverage containers, smoking debris, etc. is the responsibility of each individual party.  Throwing objects in the lake is strictly prohibited.

7. Glass containers are prohibited on the beach.

8. Parties, picnics or gatherings held on the beach or common areas consisting of more than 12 people shall require written approval from the Board of Directors.

9. Conveyance of Beach Club Member privileges to a non-member is not legal and will not be allowed at any time for any reason.

10. Bikes, boats, canoes, jet skies, etc. belonging to members or guests may be parked or stored in designated areas only.

11. Pets are allowed in designated areas only on the beach or on the docks only when being transported to and from a boat on a leash.

12. Member and guest swimming is allowed in designated swim area only which excludes boat docks and surrounding area.  Swimming under docks is prohibited. 

13. Improper or unsafe behavior will not be permitted on the docks.  That includes running, pushing, or shoving, deliberately jumping on a swimmer.

14. No food or drink is allowed on swim dock.  No chairs or coolers may be brought on the swim dock.  No containers of oil or other sunscreen products are allowed on the swim dock as they can create a slippery surface.

15. No fishing on swim dock.

16. Upon sale of property, the Treasurer must be notified so certificate and proper passes may be provided.  In addition the gate key must be passed on to new owner.  Failure to do so will result in lost key charges.

17. Loss of gate key(s) will result in a $25.00 replacement charge per key.


Revised by the Board of Directors on May 6, 2012 in accordance with Article IV, Section 11 of the Bylaws.  These rules supersede all previously existing rules.
